Tiny Tots Program

Welcome to the 2015/2016 season of Tiny Tots athletics. We hope your child will have a great time learning new skills while increasing their fitness levels and making friends. Tiny  tots program differs in many ways from the older childrens activities .

The focus of our tiny tots program is to give young athletes an introduction to our events in a modified format to suit their skills in a non-competitive environment.

The activities concentrate on developing key areas such as

*throwing

*following instructions

*running

*teamwork

*jumping

Some of the events we offer include

*mini hurdles

*balance beam

*running races

*parachute games

*long jump

*ball skills

*shot put

*obstacle courses

*relays

Tiny Tots program commences at approximately 6pm and will conclude at 7pm. During the season as the weather warms up our activities may include water activities, please let your co-ordinator know if you do not wish for your child to get wet. Dubbo Athletics is completely volunteer run, and we rely on parent involvement each week .We need parents to supervise the activities of our tiny tots – all activities will be organised by your co-ordinators but as you can imagine the more helpers we have the quicker we can move from event to event therefor having more time for our tiny tots to participate in activities

IN TINY TOTS WE DO NOT RECORD RACE TIMES, PLACES ETC. TINY TOTS FOCUS IS ON DEVELOPING BASIC ATHLETICS SKILLS
